At first glance this seems like a pretty straight forward swept soffit staircase.
However, the introduction of a small check on the underside of each tread really gives the soffit of the flight a rhythm that doesn’t exist with a swept soffit.
I’m not convinced that the detail is completely resolved at the quarter landings though.
